SeaLights is excited to announce an enhancement to the Executive Summary Report, empowering you to generate more accurate and insightful reports for complex, multi-branch environments.

Key Improvement: Date/Build Range per Branch

You can now select specific date and build ranges for each branch included in your report. This granular control allows you to tailor your analysis to the exact timeframes and branches that matter most to you.

How it Works

  1. Choose Your Approach:

    • General Date Range: Select a single date range to analyze data across all branches.

    • Date/Build Range per Branch: Select individual date and build ranges for each branch, providing a more precise analysis.

  2. Define Branch-Specific Ranges: For the "Date/Build Range per Branch" option, you can specify the desired start and end dates or builds for each branch.

  3. Generate Your Report: Once you've configured the desired date and build ranges, generate your report to gain valuable insights into your testing and coverage data.

Benefits of This Enhancement

  • Accurate and Relevant Data: By focusing on specific date and build ranges for each branch, you can eliminate irrelevant data and gain a clearer picture of your testing performance.

  • Improved Decision-Making: With more precise data, you can make informed decisions about resource allocation, testing strategies, and release planning.

  • Enhanced Insights: Dive deeper into the performance of individual branches and identify areas for improvement.

This enhancement empowers you to generate more accurate and insightful Executive Summary Reports, ultimately leading to better-informed decision-making and improved software quality.
