Install Support Pack 1

Support Pack 1 fixes a problem where in some cases, changed objects in transports didn’t impact test executions. It includes modifications to the ABAP Agent transaction YSL_TCODE.

Support Pack 1 includes updates SAP components required for the ABAP Agent. You must install it on each QAS or PRD system where you have installed the ABAP addon.

To install Support Pack 1, do the following:

  1. Copy the S580020276736_0000038.PAT or K-1001INTRICE.SAR file from the abap_addon distribution directory to your application server. Alternatively, copy the K-1001INTRICE.SAR file to a temporary directory on your machine.

  2. Log in to the SAP system using client 000 and execute transaction SPAM.

  3. Select the appropriate menu option under Support Package -> Load Packages:

    • SAR file from frontend

    • SAR file from application server

    • EPS file from application server

  4. Load the appropriate file from the abap_addon distribution directory or your application server.

  5. Select the New Support Packages radio button and then select Display. You should see the SeaLights ABAP 1.0: SP 1 Support Package in the TRICE hierarchy folder.

  6. Place the cursor on the Support Package and select Queue, or select the Package > Calculate Queue menu option. SAP displays the following dialog:

  7. Place the cursor on the Support Package and select . SAP displays the following dialog:

  8. Select No. The Queue field displays the selected Support Package.

  9. Select or the Support Package > Import Queue menu option. SAP displays the following dialog:

  10. Select to start the import process. When it has completed, SAP displays the following dialog.

  11. Select to close the dialog.
