Unified Test Details Management

We've significantly upgraded the way you manage and update your test details, streamlining two key features on the Test Details table: Downloading Test Data and Updating Test Attributes.

These changes simplify your workflow, reduce the number of steps required, and unify all relevant test data into a single, easy-to-manage file.

1. Simplified, Unified CSV Download

We've consolidated the previous two separate download options into a single, comprehensive CSV file. This new download contains all the critical information you need in one place:

• Test Details: Test ID, Test Name, Test Stage, Test Group, Is Pinned

• Context: Related App/Branch

• Traceability: Test Dependencies

Download Limit

To ensure fast and reliable performance, the download is limited to the first 50,000 items displayed in the table. If your current view exceeds this limit, we recommend applying filters to your table to narrow down your results. This ensures your downloaded file contains only the tests you need.

2. Streamlined Test Details Update

Updating test attributes like Test Group, Pinned Status, and Test Dependencies is now dramatically simpler.

Previously, updating this data often required managing two separate files and processes. Now, everything can be updated using one simple CSV file, which you can easily generate using the new update wizard.

1. Single Template: Download the unified CSV template directly from the update wizard.

2. Edit and Focus: Use this single file to update all attributes. Only include the tests and columns you wish to change (unnecessary columns can be deleted).

3. Upload: Upload the single file to update all attributes simultaneously. Remember to use quotes for all values in the CSV.

This single-file process eliminates complexity and makes keeping your test data accurate faster than ever.
